First off, congrats to the Colts for their victory. Second, sorry dook but ya'll have another loss coming up this week on your schedule. Finally, the music:
I'm going to list off a plethora of bands and musicians and you can try and guess what they all have in common.
Bob Dylan, Graham Parker, Robbie Dupree, Los Lobos, Taj Mahal, Mavis Staples, Paul Butterfield, Scotty Moore, Keith Richards, Hot Tuna, Rat Dog, Lee Rocker, Paul Burlison, Kim Wilson, Brecker Brothers, Santana, Wayne Shorter, Bill Evans, David Sanborn, Steve Kimock Band, Bruce Cockburn, Loreena McKennitt, The Band and Big Sugar.
Any ideas? Alright, here it is, the members of this week's feature have recorded and/or performed with all of the above musicians...(not all at once of course). That's right, this week's focus is on a band that is somewhat new to me but loaded with talent and experience: Jim Weider's ProJECT PERCoLAToR. Featuring Jim Weider on telecaster guitars, Mitch 'the Moose Stein' on guitar, Steve Lucas on bass and finally Rodney 'the Octopus' Holmes on drums and assorted percussion.
Now who is Jim Weider you ask? So did I, so I will direct you here to his official bio. The short story is that he replaced Robbie Robertson as guitarist of The Band from 1985 to 2000. Now if you are not a fan of The Band, have no fear. This music is much different, have a listen.
Next on the list is Mitch Stein and Rodney Holmes. They come as a duo that I became familiar with through the Steve Kimock Band. Pretty sure I have discussed a little about them in previous episodes so I won't say too much about them today other than that they rock.

You need Quicktime for these videos...
New to me is Steve Lucas on bass who apparently played with a Song of the Day selection: Big Sugar. Anyways, top notch bass player and overall musician.
So there you have it, ProJECT PERCoLAToR. The tunes I have selected all come from a show on January 25th at 12 Galaxies in San Francisco. Came to me without a setlist but I have pieced together what I can and it lines up like this:
Also, here are some pictures that came to me with the CDs, not sure where credit goes for these:
