How to get here:

We are located in Western N.C. about 35 miles northeast of Asheville and 50 miles southwest of Boone.

Once in Burnsville follow these directions:
On 19-E come to a traffic light adjacent to a CVS pharmacy and a Burger King.
Turn into town here(North or away from the CVS). This is South Main St.
You will almost immediately come to the town square.
Check out the statue of our hero "Ottway Burns" in the middle, eh.
You'll want to keep heading North out of the square...
So go around to the far side by the church and take North Main.
You should quickly see the fire station on the right...
Go past the station and the first street (Azalea Lane)...
...to the next St.(Green Mountain Dr.) our place is the big white house on the corner
Best place to park should be just past the swimming pool on the left in the park...


From points east a.k.a. you're coming on I-40 West:
Take the NC-226 Exit #86 and turn right off the exit ramp.
Follow approx. 13 miles. Turn left at traffic light to stay on 226.
Roads start to get curvy here...be cautious
Go approx. 1 mile and turn right to stay on 226.
(If you go straight you will wind up on 226-A a.k.a. "the scenic route"...picturesque but will add about 10 minutes.
Follow 226 to the top of the mountain, 226 curves right and goes under the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Stay on 226 after the parkway for about 5 miles until you see 19-E. Turn left to follow 19-E South.
Follow this approx. 12 miles to Burnsville.


From points west (coming from Asheville, I-81 or I-26):
From Asheville you want to take 19-23 North which is also called "Future I-26"
Take this about 18 miles to exit 9.
From I-81 or other points north you'll want to get on I-26 South until exit 9.
From here there is only one way to go at the exit (towards Burnsville/Spruce Pine).
Follow this approx. 15 miles to Burnsville.
